Summary

This study tests a 4-month coaching program called SONATA that helps older adults (age 60+) with advanced cancer build a support network of family and friends. The goal is to see if this social support makes it easier to stick with treatment and feel better. About 330 patients and their chosen network members will take part in coaching sessions to improve communication and care coordination.
