Can facebook and instagram keep kids with asthma out of the hospital?
NCT ID NCT05013788
Summary
This study tested whether providing asthma education through social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram could help children manage their condition better. Researchers enrolled 200 children recently hospitalized for asthma and their caregivers, all of whom used social media. They compared outcomes between those receiving standard education and those receiving enhanced social media education to see if it reduced hospital visits, school absences, and healthcare costs.
