Can a sensory room calm Kids' chemo fears?
NCT ID NCT07202507
Summary
This study is testing whether a special relaxation method called Snoezelen can help reduce anxiety in children and teens getting chemotherapy for cancer. Researchers will compare how 20 participants aged 8-17 feel during a chemo cycle with Snoezelen sessions versus a previous cycle without them. The goal is to see if this calming, multi-sensory approach improves their emotional and physical well-being during hospital stays.
