First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests if adding SMS reminders with diet and exercise tips to a standard lifestyle program helps people with prediabetes lose more weight. 300 adults in Reunion Island will either get the program alone or with 72 text messages over 6 months. The goal is to see if more people lose at least 3% of their body weight, which can lower their risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
