NCT ID NCT04276116
First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests whether telling smokers their estimated 'pulmonary age' (how old their lungs act) helps them quit. About 100 adults aged 25+ who have smoked for over a year will be randomly assigned to get their lung age or not. The main goal is to see if more people stop smoking after 6 months, confirmed by a breath test.
