Summary
This study tests whether an electronic visit (e-visit) can help adults aged 40+ in rural areas quit smoking and get screened for COPD. Participants are randomly assigned to receive the e-visit or standard care. The e-visit is like an online questionnaire about smoking history and symptoms, and may lead to a prescription for quit-smoking medication. The study lasts 24 weeks and involves surveys and breath tests.
