Can sniffing scents boost brainpower for people with HIV?
NCT ID NCT07221123
Summary
This study is testing two simple smell-based activities to see if they are practical and acceptable for middle-aged and older adults living with HIV. Researchers want to know if regularly smelling scents at home for 8 weeks can improve participants' sense of smell and their cognitive function, like memory and focus. The main goal is to learn if this type of study is easy to run and if people are willing to stick with the smell routines.
