Summary
This study aims to see if data from smartwatches and smartphones can detect early, subtle signs of respiratory virus infections like flu and coronavirus. Researchers will monitor 1,000 healthy adults who are already participating in separate virus exposure studies, tracking their heart rate, temperature, coughing, and voice changes. The goal is to develop tools that could one day provide early warnings of infection before noticeable symptoms appear.
