Smartwatch could catch silent heart rhythm problems after surgery

Summary
This study tests whether a smartwatch can find hidden atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) in people who have had heart surgery. About 30% of patients develop this condition after surgery, but many have no symptoms and it can lead to strokes. The trial will compare standard care to using a smartwatch for 5 days after leaving the intensive care unit.
