First seen Mar 01, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether a smartphone app can help people with opioid addiction stay off illicit drugs during treatment. The app predicts the chance of relapse in the next 7-10 days and adjusts medication doses accordingly. About 225 adults who are starting methadone or buprenorphine treatment will participate. The goal is to reduce illicit opioid use compared to standard care.
