First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 38 times
Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app can accurately measure how well your eyes and balance system work together (the vestibulo-ocular reflex). 35 adults with and without balance disorders used the app and a standard computer system. The goal was to see if the app could be a low-cost, accessible tool for diagnosing balance problems, especially in places with limited resources.
