Summary

This study tested two smartphone-based programs to help people reduce risky drinking and improve family relationships after the COVID-19 pandemic. About 400 pairs of drinkers and their family members joined. One app focused on the drinker alone, while the other involved the whole family. The goal was to see which approach worked better at cutting down heavy drinking days and easing emotional distress.
