Can your phone help you quit smoking? new study tests app and meds
NCT ID NCT07099638
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to help people quit smoking by testing two things: a combination of two quit-smoking medications (varenicline and nicotine lozenges) and a smartphone app that sends medication reminders. It will enroll 496 daily adult smokers in Oklahoma. The main goal is to see if these tools help people stay smoke-free for six months after their quit date.
