Could your phone help manage arthritis? study tests app vs. doctor visits
NCT ID NCT03005925
Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app could help manage rheumatoid arthritis with fewer in-person doctor visits. Researchers compared 94 patients using the app with a hand strength device against those receiving standard care. The goal was to see if remote monitoring could maintain good disease control while reducing the burden of frequent appointments.
