Phone app aims to help kidney patients stay on track
NCT ID NCT04858295
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether a smartphone app could help people with chronic kidney disease and high blood pressure better manage their health. The app sent reminders to check blood pressure and walk more, and provided feedback and educational resources. Researchers wanted to see if patients found the app easy to use and helpful, and whether they preferred getting information via text messages or through the app itself.
