App aims to be a digital coach for heart failure patients
NCT ID NCT05858320
Summary
This study tested a web application designed to help people with a specific type of heart failure (HFrEF) get the best possible medications. 225 participants were randomly assigned to either use the 'SmartHF' app or receive usual care for 12 weeks. The app analyzed patients' health records and created easy-to-understand medication suggestions for them to discuss with their doctor during appointments.
