Smart Doctor's assistant aims to stop second strokes

NCT ID NCT07143149

Summary

This study is testing a new computer-based support system designed to help doctors manage cholesterol levels in patients who have had a stroke or mini-stroke (TIA). It will involve 4000 patients in China who are already taking a specific cholesterol-lowering drug called Evolocumab. The main goal is to see if this smart system helps more patients reach and maintain a healthy cholesterol target over one year, which could lower their risk of having another stroke.
