Smart mat aims to stop diabetic foot sores before they start
NCT ID NCT05968924
Summary
This study tested whether people at high risk for diabetic foot ulcers would regularly use a special smart mat at home. The mat checks foot temperature daily to spot early warning signs of a sore forming. Researchers followed 20 participants for six months to see how often they used the mat and if it helped prevent ulcers.
