Summary
This pilot study tested whether using smart insulin pens together with continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) can help people with type 2 diabetes better control their blood sugar. Thirty adults with poorly controlled diabetes took part. The goal was to see if this technology could lower HbA1c levels and reduce dangerous blood sugar swings.
