Smart contact lenses tested for vision loss

NCT ID NCT06989658

Summary

This study aims to see if a new 'smart' contact lens is comfortable and safe to wear. It will be tested on both healthy volunteers and people with Stargardt's disease, a condition that causes central vision loss. The main goal is to check for any side effects and see how users feel about the lens, not to treat the disease itself.
