Can a rocking, Sound-Making bassinet mimic the womb to help preemies sleep?
NCT ID NCT05711927
Summary
This study looked at whether a special bassinet that rocks and plays white noise helps premature babies sleep better than a regular bassinet. Researchers monitored 20 stable premature infants during two separate naps to compare their sleep quality, heart rate, and oxygen levels. The goal was to learn if recreating womb-like conditions could support brain development by improving sleep.
