Pill vs. IV drip: race to treat Mini-Strokes

Summary
This study is testing if taking two antiplatelet pills (like aspirin plus another) works as well as the standard intravenous clot-busting medicine for treating a small type of stroke, called a lacunar stroke, if given within 4.5 hours. Researchers want to see if the pill combination is just as effective at helping patients recover and if it causes fewer serious bleeding problems. They will compare the two treatments in 500 people who have just had this specific small stroke.
