Pill-Sized camera could spot hidden cancers in lynch syndrome patients

NCT ID NCT07472686

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study reviews past medical records of 400 people with Lynch syndrome who had a small bowel capsule endoscopy (a pill-sized camera) to screen for pre-cancerous growths or cancer in the small intestine. The goal is to see how well this camera test finds these lesions compared to follow-up results. The study does not test a new treatment but aims to improve screening for a high-risk group.
