Summary

This study tests a new sleep therapy called SleepSMART for veterans who have both insomnia and mild cognitive impairment (MCI). SleepSMART is a version of standard cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) that includes extra memory and learning support. The goal is to see if SleepSMART helps veterans sleep better and more easily than standard CBT-I. About 150 veterans will take part, and their sleep quality will be measured before, after, and 3 months following treatment.
