New hope for restful nights in rare brain disorder

NCT ID NCT04014387

Summary

This study tested whether two different sleep medications could safely improve sleep for people with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), a rare brain disorder. Forty participants tried each medication and a placebo for one week at a time, with breaks in between. Researchers measured sleep patterns and daytime symptoms to see if better sleep could improve overall well-being.
