Summary

This study aimed to understand the types and severity of sleep problems experienced by patients with gastrointestinal cancers before and after their surgery. Researchers planned to have patients fill out sleep questionnaires daily while in the hospital and wear activity trackers to measure sleep patterns. The goal was to gather information to potentially improve future patient care, but the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
