Can we help critically ill children sleep better?

NCT ID NCT06505447

Summary

This study is testing whether it's possible to measure and improve sleep for children aged 3-6 who are critically ill in intensive care. Researchers will use wrist monitors and saliva tests to track sleep patterns while trying two simple interventions: providing normal daytime light and restricting feeding to daytime hours. The goal is to understand if these approaches are practical in a hospital setting and if they help children maintain healthier sleep-wake cycles.
