NCT ID NCT05016960
First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This pilot study tested a specially adapted sleep therapy, called Sleep-SMART, for 30 older veterans who have both mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and insomnia. The therapy combines standard insomnia treatment with memory-support strategies to help veterans learn and stick with the program. The goal was to see if the approach is acceptable and usable, with hopes that better sleep could improve daily life and slow cognitive decline.
