This study will monitor 75 adults—natural short sleepers, normal sleepers, and people with idiopathic hypersomnia—over 32 continuous hours in a sleep lab. Using EEG and actigraphy, researchers will track brain wave patterns and blood sugar changes to understand how the body regulates sleep.
