Can better sleep calm traumatized teens?
NCT ID NCT06341413
Summary
This study aims to understand how sleep quality affects emotion processing and daily mood in teenagers with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Researchers will observe 180 teens, including some with PTSD and some without, to see if using a special headband to improve deep sleep can change how they feel and react to emotional images the next day. The study involves clinical assessments, brain scans, and overnight sleep monitoring to gather information, not to provide treatment.
