NCT ID NCT04963205
First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested whether sleeping with the head and back raised more than 30 degrees (using an adjustable bed) helps people with advanced COPD sleep better. 24 participants each spent 4 weeks sleeping flat and 4 weeks elevated, and their sleep quality was measured with questionnaires and devices. The goal was to see if this simple change could reduce nighttime breathing problems and improve daytime energy.
