First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at whether teaching people with type 2 diabetes about good sleep habits can improve their sleep quality and blood sugar control. One hundred adults with type 2 diabetes and poor sleep took part. Half received sleep hygiene education and kept a sleep diary for two weeks, while the other half got the same training after three months. The researchers measured sleep quality and HbA1c (a blood sugar marker) before and after the program.
