Scientists probe nighttime breathing and heart rhythms to predict risks in serious lung condition
NCT ID NCT07464184
Summary
This study aims to better understand how nighttime breathing problems and related changes in heart rate patterns affect people with pulmonary hypertension, a serious condition of high blood pressure in the lungs. Researchers will monitor 60 patients over two years using sleep studies to see if these nighttime measurements can help predict future health risks. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to better ways to assess risk and guide care for this condition.
