Extra hour of sleep could be key to easing pain for students
NCT ID NCT05816434
Summary
This study tested whether sleeping at least one extra hour each night for three weeks could help healthy college students better tolerate pain and experience fewer pain symptoms. Researchers monitored 36 students' sleep and measured their responses to pressure and cold pain before and after the sleep extension period. The goal was to see if simply getting more sleep could improve the body's natural pain control systems.
