First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a special bassinet (SNOO) that rocks and plays white noise helps premature infants sleep more peacefully compared to a standard bassinet. Twenty preterm babies each spent three hours in both conditions, with their sleep stages and vital signs monitored. The goal was to see if the SNOO increases quiet sleep and improves heart rate and oxygen levels.
