NCT ID NCT06505447

First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether it's possible to track sleep and the body's internal clock in critically ill children aged 3 to 6 in the pediatric ICU. Researchers will use a watch-like device and saliva tests to measure sleep and melatonin levels. They will also test if giving bright light during the day and only feeding during daytime hours is doable. The goal is to see if these simple steps can be used in future studies to help kids recover better.
