Summary
This study tested whether a special sleep cap helps newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) sleep longer and stay more stable. Researchers watched 53 babies over three nights to measure sleep, heart rate, breathing, and oxygen levels. The goal was to see if a simple cap could improve sleep and comfort for these vulnerable infants.
