This study explores how severe sleep deprivation in the first 48 hours after childbirth impacts a mother's motivation to breastfeed and her breastfeeding success. Researchers will track 167 new mothers, including those who had C-sections, using surveys and feeding assessments. The goal is to identify early signs of trouble so nurses can offer better support.
