Summary

This study explores how severe sleep deprivation in the first two days after childbirth relates to a mother's motivation to breastfeed and how well breastfeeding goes. Researchers will measure sleep problems, breastfeeding motivation, and breastfeeding success in 167 new mothers. The goal is to find ways to support mothers early on to improve health for both mom and baby.
