Can more sleep lower your nighttime blood pressure?

NCT ID NCT05062161

Summary

This study investigated whether helping adults who sleep less than 7 hours per night to get more sleep could lower their blood pressure during sleep. Researchers compared an 8-week sleep improvement program to a control group. They measured blood pressure over 24 hours and tracked sleep using activity monitors to see if extending sleep time made a difference.
