Scientists scan for clues to make sleep apnea treatment more effective
NCT ID NCT06434558
Summary
This study aims to learn why a new, non-surgical freezing treatment for obstructive sleep apnea works well for some people but not others. Researchers will use MRI and ultrasound scans on 10 patients before and after they receive the treatment to look for patterns. The goal is to find clues in body scans that can predict who will benefit most, helping doctors choose the right patients in the future.
