Sleep pill trial aims to fix common CPAP struggle
NCT ID NCT05951023
Summary
This study tested if a safe sleeping pill (eszopiclone) could help people with obstructive sleep apnea use their CPAP machine more consistently. It focused on patients who already own a CPAP but only use it for part of the night. Researchers wanted to see if the pill, by helping patients sleep more soundly, would make them more likely to keep their CPAP mask on longer.
