Summary
This study is testing if an implanted nerve stimulator used to treat sleep apnea can also improve blood sugar control and reduce risk factors for heart disease. It will involve 30 adults with moderate-to-severe sleep apnea who cannot use the standard CPAP mask therapy. Researchers will measure changes in glucose levels, blood pressure, and other health markers to see if the stimulator offers benefits beyond better sleep.
