New mouthpiece aims to tame nighttime breathing stops

NCT ID NCT07111962

Summary

This study is testing a custom-made mouthpiece, called the OrthoApnea NOA, to see if it can effectively control obstructive sleep apnea. It will follow 150 people for three years to see if the device cuts their breathing pauses in half and improves sleep quality. The research will compare this new mouthpiece to other similar devices to see which works best for long-term use.
