NCT ID NCT06776432
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tests three different drugs—sivopixant, acetazolamide, and SASS-001—to see if they can reduce breathing pauses during sleep in adults with sleep apnea that involves a central (brain-related) component. About 60 participants with stable heart failure or persistent atrial fibrillation will receive one of the drugs or a placebo. The main goal is to measure changes in the apnea-hypopnea index (number of breathing pauses per hour) from the start of the study.
