Summary
This study aims to understand if sleep apnea influences the progression of two related blood conditions: MGUS and multiple myeloma. Researchers are enrolling 200 patients who are already scheduled for a standard bone marrow biopsy. They will collect these samples to compare gene activity in patients with and without sleep apnea, hoping to learn how poor sleep might affect cancer development.
