Can a common sleep pill slow Alzheimer's?

Summary
This study is testing whether a prescription sleep aid called lemborexant can reduce levels of proteins linked to Alzheimer's disease in the blood and spinal fluid. It involves about 200 older adults who have early signs of Alzheimer's but no memory problems yet. Researchers will compare the effects of the medication against a placebo over six months to see if improving sleep impacts these disease markers.
