Scientists map the skin toll of modern cancer drugs

NCT ID NCT02517281

Summary

This study aimed to better understand the skin side effects that can happen when people take newer, targeted cancer drugs. Researchers closely observed 141 adult cancer patients who were starting these treatments, tracking their skin reactions through exams and photos. The goal was to learn more about why these skin problems occur, not to test a new treatment.
