The hidden toll: study reveals how cancer drug side effects steal Patients' quality of life

NCT ID NCT06690489

Summary

This study aimed to understand how skin, hair, and itching side effects impact the daily lives of women being treated for early breast cancer. Researchers surveyed 155 women in Europe who had been on a standard hormone therapy for 2-3 years. By having patients fill out detailed questionnaires, the study sought to measure the real-world burden these common side effects place on quality of life.
