Sticky patch zaps away lingering shingles pain

Summary

This study is testing a non-invasive skin patch that delivers gentle electrical pulses to try to reduce chronic nerve pain caused by shingles, known as postherpetic neuralgia. It will involve 35 adults who still have pain despite standard treatments. Researchers will check if the patch helps lower pain levels and improves quality of life over three months.
