Tiny skin patches tested to boost drug delivery

NCT ID NCT05929794

Summary

This study aims to understand how a small patch with microscopic needles affects how a common antibiotic drug gets absorbed through the skin when applied as a gel versus a cream. Researchers are testing 24 healthy volunteers to measure drug levels in their blood over several days. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about this new drug delivery method, not to treat any medical condition.
